Over the years, we have found a number of items lost by farmers, such as tractor parts and tools. We have also found jewellery lost by landowners and their forebears.

We are often contacted by members of the public who have lost metallic objects. This is normally jewellery of sentimental value but it can be drains or pipes.  Our members are dispersed across the SE of England and a post asking for help invariably finds people willing to go and look for the lost item. We have many success stories

We have also been involved helping the Police with knife sweeps and the like and some of our members support archaeological digs using their metal detecting skills and equipment.
